Board of Directors Meeting

April 15, 2020

The meeting, held at via video conference, was called to order at 7:06 p.m.

Board Members present:  Craig Downie, Tim Schick, Lee Thompson, Cate Fulkerson and Petra Raymond.

Minutes

m/Cate s/Lee  The minutes of the March 11, 2020 meeting were approved.

Financial reports

m/Tim s/Cate The Board approved the financial reports for March.

Landscaping

Petra reported that the previously approved tree work between 1206 and 1210 would only cost $1,025 – less than the $2,000 allocated.

m/Tim s/Craig The board approved adding stump grinding at a cost of $325 to the previously approved project. The stump to be removed is near 1216 and across the street from 1237.

m/Tim s/Lee The board approved a contract with Environmental Enhancements for 10 mosquito control treatments at a cost of $289.90 per treatment.

The board reviewed the work of the landscape contractor in the initial spring lawn mowing matters to be discussed with the contractor.

The Board discussed questions related to trash and yard waste removal resulting from the pandemic that will be communicated to the contractor.

Petra reported that Arborist Chip Johnson has reviewed master plans projects 2 and 3 (by 1219 and 2016), and 7 and 8 (the large traffic island on top of the hill) and is still working on recommendations and cost estimated on the work that is needed.

Judy Holmes reported that a resident was concerned about a tree near 1262.  The Board agreed to have the arborist look at it and report on the tree’s heath.

Next Meeting

The Board set the next meeting for May 13 at 7pm at Tim’s house (1223), or by video conference if necessary.
