Board of Directors Meeting

January 21, 2015

Board Members present:  Craig Downie, Matt Roland, Tim Schick, Mickey Alford-Lane and Alice Tripp

Guest:  Joseph Abboud

Officer Positions:  Craig Downie, President; Matt, Tim and Mickey, Vice Presidents; and Alice  as Secretary/Treasurer.

Secretary’s Report:  Matt moved the minutes of the Executive Session of December 30, 2014 be accepted as written.  Seconded by Craig.  Unanimous.

Treasurer’s Report:  2014 final reports were distributed as well as a look ahead to 2015.

Social Committee:  No report at this time.

Old Business:

                Sink Hole(s) – Mickey has the action to begin to find a way to correct the problems

                Little Free Library – Matt noted it was almost completed.            

                Speeding – Ideas were discussed to try and curb speeding in the neighborhood

Snow Shoveling – Board will look into some options for clearing the sidewalk on Woodbrook Lane

                Dog Waste – Board will remind dog owners of their responsibility to pick up waste.

Landscaping:  Tim moved that the Board approve Genesis Landscapes proposal to seed and sod  the area adjacent to 1253 where two white pines were removed as part of the ten-year plan.  Cost for the project is $2,570.  Tim also moved the Board approve the purchase of three 12-14’ Cryptomeria Radican trees to planted in the area behind 1250-1254 in the amount of $1,991.43.  Tree will come from Blue Mount orchard and will be planted by our arborist.

New Business:  None at this time.
