Board of Directors Meeting

October 22, 2014

The meeting, held at Alice Tripp’s was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

Members present:  Bob Dilger, Tim Schick, Matt Roland and Alice Tripp

Member absent:  Jason Goldberg

Secretary’s Report:  Bob moved that the minutes of the meeting of September 17^th, 2014, be accepted as written.  Tim seconded the motion.  The vote was unanimous.

Treasurer’s Report:  See  budget discussion below

Social Committee Report:  The Fall cluster gathering was enjoyed by the residents.

Landscaping:  Projects previously authorized are in the works.  It was felt by the Board that the erosion issues behind the housed from 1219 through 1257 should be a part of next year’s grounds work planning.

Old Business:

Little Free Library: Reston Association approved the application.  Tim moved that the Board authorize up to $250 for the construction of the library.  Seconded by Matt and approved.

New Business:

                Dog Waste:  No specific action was taken.  Dog owners are responsible for removal.

Budget for 2015:  Preliminary figures for 2015 were reviewed in conjunction with 2014 expenses.   The Board approved an increase in quarterly assessments of approximatey 2.8%.

Date and Place for next meeting:  The next meeting will be the Cluster Annual Meeting which will be held at Gregorio’s Trattoria on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Secretary/Treasurer
