Board of Directors Meeting

June 19, 2012

The meeting held at Alice Tripp’s (1239) was called to order as 7:30p.m.

Board Members present:  Bob Dilger, Jason Goldberg, Matt Roland and Alice Tripp

Absent:  Scott Parkin

Secretary’s Report – Bob moved, seconded by Jason, that the minutes of the May meeting be accepted with one addition (Landscape report).  Unanimous.

Social Committee – Jason noted there was mixed feedback on the May 26 event.  It was agreed that a single location would be more appropriate and we will look at September 9, 5:00 p.m., for a “back to school” party.  Thanks to Jason for the work done.

Landscape Committee – Genesis is scheduled to begin work the last week of June, or first week of July.

Old Business:

                Street light by path to Woodbrook Lane – Matt called Dominion.  Will report again in July.

                Environmental discussion – Jason will put out a memo about trash FAQs.

Roof Maintenance – Bob contacted the two residents who have not had their roofs replaced yet and gave them a couple of roofing contractor contact numbers.

New Business:

Bob moved the Board accept the purchase of a Eucalyptus 5 foot wooden garden bench at the cost of $380, to be tabled until the next meeting, and invite comments and suggestions from the neighborhood.  Bench would be located in a raked area adjacent to the walking path to Woodbrook Lane.  Motion seconded by Matt.  Unanimous.
