Heather Knoll Board Meeting
Minutes
January 7, 2010

Members in attendance:  Alice Tripp, Bill Malyszka, Heidi Wilson, Kurt Lane and Judy Holmes
Call to order at 7:30 p.m.

Treasurer’s Report
No report.

Landscaping
There being a number of tree matters resulting from the heavy snow and ice which cannot or should not wait for the board to convene a meeting, the following was moved by JH and seconded by BM; it carried 5-0.
Motion:  On the subject of trees, non-maintenance remediation work that the Treasurer and the Chair of the Landscape Committee, in their best judgment, jointly determine needs to be done, the board authorizes expenditures without a meeting of the board; however, the individuals will inform the board prior to scheduling the work.
Maintenance
Bill will send an e-mail to elicit a team of volunteers to shovel the sidewalk on Woodbrook Lane adjacent to our property.
Due to Bill’s hard work, AAA has renegotiated our rates with a 15.85% reduction effective for 2010.

Social Committee
No report.

Communications
There being no one available to continue it in hard copy, the newsletter will become an e-doc and will be available on the website.

The board extends its thanks to Mary Malyszka for kicking off the first edition and for doing such a wonderful job!

Other Business
None.

The meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
Judy Holmes
Secretary, Board of Directors
