Board of Directors Special Meeting

October 5, 2016

The meeting held at Tim Schick’s (1223) was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

Board Members present:  Craig Downie, Tim Schick, Bob Dilger, Lee Thompson and Petra Raymond.

Residents present: Mickey Lane, Kurt Lane and Brad Wilson.

Erosion abatement

Bob reviewed the status of current and planned erosion control projects behind 1219 through 1257: Tree pruning, extension of downspouts, and plantings and terracing. There was discussion with residents about addressing how short the lawn in this area is cut by contractors and damage done by the mowers they use.

Petra said the erosion problem is caused by a combination of issues, not one single one. Lee said issues related to the mowing are being addressed with contract requirements in a new lawn service contract that is out for bid.

m/Bob s/ Lee The Board voted unanimously to accept the Sunrise Landscape & Design drainage contract proposal, provided the contractor breakout costs for work on private and common property, for a cost not to exceed $7,000 at completion.

The Board agreed by consensus that there will be meetings with affected homeowners, no work will be performed on private property without homeowner permission, and that billing for work on private property would be worked out with the individual homeowners.

Secretary’s Report:  m/ Bob s/Lee The Board approved the minutes of the Sept. 27 meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Tim Schick, Secretary
