Annual Meeting

December 3, 2018

 

The meeting, held at Buzz Aldrin Elementary School, was called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Board Members present:  Craig Downie (1200), Tim Schick (1223), Brad Wilson (1225), Cate Fulkerson (1237), and Petra Raymond (1243).

 

Residents in Attendance:  Doug Raymond (1243), Lee & Alba Thompson (1264), Ellice Stern (1266), Judy Holmes (1276), Erin Regen (1274), Naomi Schick (1223), Heidi Wilson (1225)  Judith Strother (1202), Michelle Coddington (1212), Fred Souke & Jayne Helmig (1211), Cindy Brownstem (1268), Edie Fleming (1249), and Jeanne Boylan (1245).

 

The minutes of the 2017 meeting were approved as written, the motion to accept made by Ellice Stern, and seconded by several.

 

President Craig Downie reviewed the accomplishments of the year:

-- Tree work in the community focused on, but not limited to, the south side of the cluster.

-- Drainage work near 1240 and 1216

-- Erosion mitigation work behind 1243

-- Relocation of bushes that were next to 1219

-- Beginning a legal review of the association bylaws for consistency and compliance with state laws.

 -- A decision to use organic insect control and lawn treatment.

 

Treasurer Petra Raymond reviewed the Association’s income and expenses for 2018 and the proposed 2019 budget. The 2019 budget calls for an annual increase in HOA fee of $9 per quarter. The quarterly fees for inside units will $490 and for outside unit $523. 

 

Residents asked questions on future landscape master plan work, planned erosion work and allocation of unexpended funds from previous years.

 

Petra Raymond was nominated for the open board seats. On a motion by Tim Schick, seconded by Doug Raymond. There were no other nominations and Raymond was declared elected without opposition.

 

Downie discussed planned work for 2019, including landscape work, bylaw revisions and streambed rehabilitation on the southeast side of the cluster behind 1219-1233.

 

The meeting adjourned at 8:20 pm.
