Board of Directors Special Meeting
March 8, 2017
The meeting held at Tim Schick’s (1223) was called to order at 7:30 p.m.

m/ Lee s/ Bob The Board approved a contract with Environmental Enhancements for the planting of five Prunus laurel ‘schipkaens’ behind 1211-1215 at a cost of $1,073.
The Board discussed a resident’s inquiry about replacing or refinishing the house number plates on homes. No action was taken.
Bob reported that although additional street paving bids were received, the quote from Pro Pave approved at the February meeting remained the low bid.
Sidewalk, gutter and curb repair
m/ Bob s/ Tim The Board accepted a bid from Pro Pave for the replacement of two concrete gutter pans for $900; the replacement of 25 sidewalk pads with 4,000 psi concrete for $3,600; the replacement of one concrete slab in the pipe stem on common property for $1,450; and the pressure washing and staining of curbs for $5,743, at a total cost of $11,693, with a possible adjustment for the use of 4,000 psi concrete instead of 3,500 psi concrete in the gutter pans.
The Board discussed how to coordinate the street and sidewalk work with the contractor as well as how to communicate he projects' details with residents, to minimize inconvenience when the work is being done. A more detailed discussion will take place at the March 29 meeting.
