Board of Directors Meeting
January 18, 2017
The meeting held at Tim Schickís (1223) was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Board Members present:† Craig Downie, Tim Schick, Bob Dilger, Lee Thompson and Petra Raymond.
m/ Bob s/ Lee The minutes of the December 14 meeting were approved.
Petra presented the year-end financial reports for 2016 and reported an operating surplus of $5,880.
Election of Officers
m/ Tim, s/ Craig the incumbent officers were unanimously reelected: Craig Downie president, Petra Raymond Treasurer, and Tim Schick Secretary. †Bob Dilger and Lee Thompson Vice Presidents.
m/Bob, s/Tim The Board approved placing the 2016 operating fund surplus temporarily in the operating budget surplus account until the March meeting.
m/ Bob s/ Craig The Board authorized the treasurer to research CD rates and make changes if she deems appropriate.
Lee reported on the status of a complaint from a resident in a neighboring subdivision about the effects of tree removal along the cluster property line. Lee is working with Reston Association officials to ensure we are in compliance with the RA approved landscape master plan.
m/ Lee, s/ Craig. The Board authorized Bob to seek quotes for milling and paving the street and two adjacent paths and for striping and curb painting.
The Board set the next meeting for 7:30 pm February 22 at Timís house (1223)
